What are All-On-4 Implants?

The All-On-4 procedure, also known as "Teeth in a Day," allows patients to have their remaining teeth extracted, implants inserted, and a fully functional smile in just one day. This treatment not only improves the aesthetics of their smiles but also rejuvenates their overall quality of life. For those struggling with extensive tooth decay, deteriorating dental work, and damaged teeth, the All-On-4 procedure offers a transformative solution to obtaining a fresh smile and resolving longstanding dental problems.
  • Most realistic and visually appealing: Mimics the look and feel of natural teeth.
  • Long-lasting: Stays in place without the hassle of removal like dentures.
  • Quick recovery: Ready for use shortly after placement.
  • Does not cover the roof of the mouth, providing a more natural sensation.
  • Improved chewing function: Provides superior chewing performance compared to other full arch or full mouth replacement options.
  • Great for individuals with limited bone: Suitable for those with inadequate bone for traditional implants.
  • Enhances the enjoyment of tasting food!

How It Works

Our advanced procedure involves extracting any remaining teeth, placing 4-6 implants per arch, and attaching a low-profile bridge. The implants are strategically angled to avoid sinuses, eliminating the need for bone grafts and reducing healing time.

Our skilled doctor has improved the All-On-4 procedure for optimal patient results. At Smiland Dental, we tailor treatment to each individual's unique anatomy. Your doctor will carefully place four to six implants per arch and provide temporary fixed bridges during the healing process. Once your mouth has healed, your final teeth will be crafted with zirconia, a durable and natural-looking material. Zirconia is more hygienic, stain-resistant, and offers a longer lifespan and better aesthetics compared to acrylic/titanium hybrid bridges.

Am I a Candidate?

Many patients, even those who were previously told they didn't have enough bone for dental implants, can now undergo the procedure. By avoiding the sinuses and utilizing the strongest bone, a combination of straight and angled implants will be used by your doctor. This technique often eliminates the need for expensive and time-consuming sinus augmentation bone grafts. Your doctor will conduct a thorough assessment during your free consultation to determine if All-On-4, also known as "Teeth in a Day," is a suitable option for you.

We offer unbeatable rates in the area, thanks to our expert dentist and skilled in-house dental lab technician who have successfully completed this procedure numerous times. Rest assured, we have everything you need to achieve the perfect smile you've always wanted. Unlike other practices, we use zirconia for its superior aesthetics, durability, and stain resistance, all included in our regular package at Smiland Dental.

All-On-4 Procedure Timeline

The All-On-4 procedure typically lasts 4-6 hours, depending on whether you are getting treatment for one arch or both arches. After the procedure, you will leave with temporary bridges attached to your new implants. These temporary bridges will stay in place for approximately 4 months to allow for proper integration of the implants with your bone and stabilization of your gums and jaw.

Once the healing period is complete, we will begin creating your final bridge(s). This process will involve multiple appointments over 5-6 weeks, during which you will work with us to design your perfect smile for your permanent teeth.

1

Mouth Impressions

The impressions will be used by the lab to make your temporary implant bridge(s). If you are missing most or all of the teeth in the treated arch, the doctor may suggest a wax try-in. This temporary implant bridge mock-up helps us evaluate bite position, aesthetics, and make any needed adjustments before completing your bridge.
2

Procedure

The process typically lasts from 4 to 7 hours and involves extracting any existing teeth, if necessary, inserting the implants, and attaching the temporary implant bridge(s).
3

Post Op #1

We will assess the healing progress and answer any questions you may have the day after your procedure.
4

Post Op #2

After three weeks, we will remove the sutures, assess your healing, and usually approve the use of a water flosser/WaterPik.
5

Impressions for Final Teeth

It has been 4 months since the procedure was done.
6

Try in

After 5-10 days from your initial impressions, we will create a mock-up of your final teeth for you to review. Multiple wax try-ins may be necessary to ensure your satisfaction with the design. Once the wax try-ins are finalized, no further changes can be made. Any requested changes after the final bridges are fabricated will incur a full-cost remake charge.
7

Seat Final Teeth

After you have approved your wax try-ins, it typically takes 4-6 weeks for your final bridges to be prepared for placement.
